Two big names have left the show within two weeks. Rise and Fall 2 has now lost Karan Patel and Tej Pratap Yadav, reportedly for very different reasons. Their exits follow two earlier departures, so the game looks quite different.
Karan Patel’s exit from Rise and Fall 2
As reported by Indian Express, Karan Patel left for health reasons and did not choose to quit, so the usual Rs 2 crore penalty reportedly did not apply. He has diabetes, which means regular insulin doses and ongoing medication. The game schedule reportedly made that routine hard to follow, and his health began to suffer.
Karan had recently felt unwell, which led to blood tests and further medical checks. As a result, the findings reportedly ended his stay in the Tower. Reports say he left on October 1 or 2, barely a week after the premiere. That timing made the exit feel sudden for many viewers following the show.
Health has interrupted his reality TV runs before. Last year, he left The 50 midway through, then rejoined that show as a wild card. At that time, his team said a rib injury worsened because of the physical tasks. This time, one outlet says the reason lacks official confirmation, so fans may wait for his own words.
Tej Pratap Yadav and his political commitments
Tej Pratap Yadav had a short but notable run in the Tower. Audiences had already warmed to him on Bhojpuri Bawaal, so his arrival on this show drew plenty of excitement. He was also the contestant who first held the Ultimate Ruler title. Fellow contestants reportedly enjoyed his playful side, so his exit came as a surprise.
His reason for leaving is quite different from the actor’s. Political and legal obligations reportedly forced him to leave the game. Sources also say the makers waived the Rs 2 crore penalty that normally follows a voluntary exit. Since exits normally carry that cost, the waiver is notable. In other words, the makers seem to have accepted both reasons as genuine.
An outlet described both exits as willing ones. Still, other outlets call them reported exits, so some details may shift. So far, no other reason for Tej Pratap’s departure has surfaced beyond those reported obligations. Meanwhile, Rise and Fall 2 has continued, with new tasks and tensions arriving every day.

How Rise and Fall 2 looks after four exits
Both exits arrive after two others in the first fortnight. The makers sent Siwet Tomar home after a scuffle with Shehzad Poonawalla. Anish Bhagat left next. He and Kajal Raghwani both landed at the bottom of the vote count, and the contestants then picked him to go. Karan had also questioned the decision to remove Siwet, and that raised tempers in the Tower.
The cast is smaller now, so new faces will arrive. Reports say two wild cards are due to join the game. Meanwhile, one report says only Shehzad Poonawalla and Gautam Gulati remain in the Ultimate Ruler race. New entrants could easily change that balance, since alliances here shift fast. Fans will watch closely how power moves without two prominent players.
Looking ahead, Rise and Fall 2 could still see many more twists in the coming weeks. The show streams on Prime Video, and new episodes arrive daily at noon. Banijay Asia produces it, while Virender Sehwag continues as host. With stars leaving and wild cards arriving, the next week could change the game again.
