Gautam Gulati ended the Rise and Fall 2 power race with a perfectly timed hockey move. He beat two strong rivals, took the Ultimate Ruler crown and then gave the Tower a new name. Here is how the final day of the show unfolded.
Rise and Fall 2 power race begins
As reported by India Today, Gautam Gulati claimed the Ultimate Ruler title after a demanding hockey task that rewarded cool thinking. Manish Goel and Rishabh Jaiswal were his rivals in the last stage, and brute strength counted for little. Before the first goal, though, the Rulers had to survive the Red Room, where the field shrank to three.
Jashwanth and Manish entered the Red Room first, and the Lift told the Rulers to use their minds instead of their muscles. That instruction made Rise and Fall 2 feel more like a debate than a contest. Manish and Jashwanth were comfortable with Rishabh taking on Niharika Tiwari. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gautam made the call and removed Jashwanth over Manish.
Jashwanth reacted badly and questioned Priyanka about the understanding they shared earlier. Rishabh, meanwhile, would not agree to send Gautam out, though Niharika argued for it. Rishabh and Niharika then made an arrangement of their own, and Priyanka went out. That left Gautam, Manish and Rishabh to fight for the Ultimate Ruler crown. Priyanka’s exit stands out because she had clashed with Gautam earlier in the season before joining him in the vote against Jashwanth.
The hockey twist that decided Rise and Fall 2
The final task was a hockey match. Each Worker a Ruler brought in would take Rs 1 lakh out of the prize pot. Gautam’s Worker was Irina Rudakova, while Manish had Shehzad Poonawalla and Rishabh had Karan. Swara Bhasker kept the score, and only the Ruler who gave away the fewest goals would survive.
The buzzer gave each Ruler a chance to trade goalposts and scores with a rival, but only twice. Manish’s first swap disrupted the early order, in which Gautam and Irina had been ahead. An injury to Shehzad forced a change, with Sara Gurpal coming in for him and Jashwanth handling the scores.
Gautam’s first swap left matters as they were, since both sides were even. He then switched with Manish, and Rishabh soon did the same to move narrowly ahead for a while. For a moment, it looked like Rishabh had found the winning pattern. With the swap rule in play, though, no lead felt safe until the final buzzer.

Gautam turns the Tower into Gautam City
Gautam waited until the closing seconds to play his last swap, which put him in Rishabh’s position. A move like that leaves rivals with almost no time to answer back. With Irina on his side, that decision won him the match and the crown.
Once the crown was his, Gautam Gulati renamed the Tower Gautam City, which left the other contestants divided. Rishabh’s missed chance hit Niharika the hardest, because the sacrifice she had made led nowhere once the crown slipped away.
The new name also fits the confidence Gautam showed before Rise and Fall 2 began. He had said that “Gautam city banane mein mujhe zyaada time nahi lagta”, which loosely means that turning any place into his own city takes very little time. The crown also felt like a big comeback in Rise and Fall 2. Earlier, Ultimate Ruler Shehzad Poonawalla had sent Gautam and Raj Grover down to the basement.
